-ผื่นขึ้นตามตัว ฝ่ามือ ฝ่าเท้า
-ต่อมน้ำเหลืองโต มีไข้ ปวดศีรษะ เจ็บคอ
-แผลในช่องปากหรืออวัยวะเพศ
ระยะแฝง (Latent Syphilis)
-ไม่มีอาการ แต่ยังมีเชื้ออยู่ในร่างกาย
-ยังตรวจพบจากเลือดได้ และยังสามารถแพร่เชื้อได้หากอยู่ในระยะแรก
ระยะสุดท้าย (Tertiary Syphilis)
-อาจเกิดหลังติดเชื้อนานหลายปี
-ส่งผลรุนแรงต่อหัวใจ สมอง ประสาท ไขสันหลัง หรือดวงตา
-เสี่ยงต่อภาวะสมองเสื่อม อัมพาต และเสียชีวิต

ซิฟิลิสแต่กำเนิด (Congenital Syphilis)
หญิงตั้งครรภ์ที่ติดซิฟิลิสสามารถถ่ายทอดเชื้อไปยังทารก ทำให้:

-แท้ง คลอดก่อนกำหนด หรือทารกเสียชีวิต
-ทารกมีความพิการแต่กำเนิด เช่น ตาบอด หูหนวก สมองเสื่อม
-แนะนำให้หญิงตั้งครรภ์ตรวจเลือดหาเชื้อซิฟิลิสในทุกไตรมาส


วิธีตรวจซิฟิลิส
การตรวจวินิจฉัยสามารถทำได้โดย:
